On November 19, 2003 the Bronx Chapter unveiled a commemorative plaque mounted at the Bronx County Courthouse, 851 Grand Concourse, Bronx NY.  The ceremony took place in front of our chapter members and  our guests, the Honorable Adolfo Carrion, Jr., Bronx Borough President, Ms. Kelly Norris, Executive Director of NYSSPE, and guests from neighboring chapters.  Additional information can be seen on this page of our website.  Photos of the ceremony may be seen here.  The plaque commemorates the founding of the Bronx Chapter and of the New York State Society, which was founded in the Bronx.  Each served a leadership role in the subsequent founding of the National Society.  The public is cordially invited to view the plaque in the first floor hallway of the courthouse, on the 161st St. side.  Stop by the next time you go to a Yankee game!  (It's only 3 blocks away.)
